Punxsutawney Christian School
Equipping and empowering students who will change the world.
Since 1996, Punxsutawney Christian School has been providing its community with an educational alternative. Our goal is to facilitate an educational experience that is challenging, fulfilling, and rewarding for our students. We work together with families to equip the next generation with the compassion, responsibility, and moral values they will need to be world-changing leaders.
At PCS, students are challenged to grow both spiritually and academically. Our highly devoted teachers strive to create a positive learning atmosphere where all students can be successful. Small class sizes allow for more individualized learning and teacher-student interaction. We work hand-in-hand with parents and guardians to create a positive school environment for our students. Our curriculum is always Christ-centered, and we place a heavy focus on outreach and community service, with a goal to create compassionate, confident lifelong learners.
An Intentional Education
The Punxsutawney Christian School was started in 1996 when a group of parents came together, concerned with the lack of spiritual educational opportunities provided in our area. They knew the importance of teaching Biblical values alongside academic subjects. They created a school where students could discover and become rooted in God’s Word, all while excelling at their academics.
