High School

Grades 7 - 12

Background Shape

Preparation for the Future

At PCS, our middle school program (grads 6-8) provides a stepping stone between elementary and high school with emphasis on the 3 R's (reading, writing, and arithmetic). Students have the added responsibility of changing classes and maintaining a locker that prepares them for new challenges that lie ahead.
Our high school program (grades 9-12) provides a more rigorous academic environment that challengers students and prepares them for the future. The high school curriculum offers higher level science and math courses that are not often seen in the private or home sector.
With smaller class sizes, each student receives more personal attention and help from their certified teachers. Students are met where they are academically and challenged to go a step further.
Every graduate from PCS has been able to attend the college or trade school of their choice due to their proper preparation at this level. Even those who have entered the work force have found success through their academic preperations.

Developing Disiples

Our primary goal at PCS is to equip our students with the Biblical knowledge needed to enter the world with a solid scriptural foundation. This includes daily Bible classes, scripture memorization and weekly chapels.
PCS students graduate with a strong knowledge of God's Word, starting their adult lives with a foundation of solid truth.

Versatile Curriculum

We offer many enrichment classes throughout the year including: music, art, robotics, gym, home economics, agriculture education, and real world mathematics.
In meeting our students where they are, core classes are modified to meet their individual needs. For example, this year we will be offering a course entitled Mathematical Applications in Agriculture for students with an interest in Ag as a future career. Dual enrollment is also available for those who would like to get a jump start on college.
To get students out of the classroom PCS has annual educational field trips that fulfill the academic role while having fun.
PCS students are encouraged and permitted to participate in Punxsutawney School District's athletic programs. We pay the PIAA fees needed that allow them to participate.

Join us at PCS where your academic freedom and future opportunities become a reality.
